A luxury hospitality group is seeking an experienced Bartender at a Safari Lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. The role involves preparing and serving a variety of drinks while ensuring a superior guest experience. Candidates should have at least 2 years of bartending experience in a similar setting, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for serving guests. The position requires long hours, including weekends, and candidates should have the ability to work under pressure. A South African work permit is essential for non-citizens.
The Bartender's main purpose at Royal Malewane is to prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks (wines, spirits, cocktails and soft) to our guests, in a professional and friendly manner - mixing and matching ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with our guests’ needs and discerning expectations. The Bartender ensures that the standards of The Royal Portfolio are met, in order to contribute to the purpose of the company, which is to give our guests a complete experience and a perfect stay.
It is important that the candidate is able to work as part of a team and is a good cultural fit for The Royal Portfolio.
South African citizenship is advantageous. A valid work permit is essential if you are not in possession of a South African ID document.
It is a requirement of the Thornybush Nature Reserve is that all staff undergo a pre-employment polygraph test.
