We are seeking a Site Account Manager - Southern Africa to join our Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining active long-term relationships with key decision makers at customer site level and continuously promote Metso's value-adding offering, as well as create a healthy business with high customer satisfaction with the site accounts. This position is mainly located in Centurion, Gauteng.

You will join the Sales Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Management, Mining Customers, Engineering and Drawing Office, Complex Proposals Commercial Team, Project Execution Team, Key Account Managers, Business Development Manager, Product Lines, and Product Support.

1. Deliver improved customer satisfaction levels by providing process support on customer sites.
2. Support customers with areas of improvement and optimizations on their plants.
3. Create relationships with key people at the site and share leads with the organization, connecting key interfaces.
4. Walk customer plants and generate leads to take forward.
5. Focus on after-market business while identifying investment/capex opportunities and conveying customer requirements to capex sales.
6. Plan and have full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site.
7. Seek and coordinate the best resources and channels for customer-facing activities.
8. Understand customer business and articulate Metso's added value.
9. Drive site sales activities with the cross-organizational site account team and understand customer's capex and opex related decisions and buying timetable.
10. Drive account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site level budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap and plan).
11. Maintain and share information of installed base, performance and shutdown schedules and plans.
12. Orchestrate customer satisfaction surveys and closed-loop activities to ensure continuous improvement.
13. Support accounts receivable and payment collections.
14. Be an active member of the Market Area Key Account / Global Key Account team.

1. Matric (Grade 12).
2. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
3. A Degree/Diploma or Artisan qualification in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.
4. Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a related field.
5. Sales or Account Management skills are advantageous.
6. Experience in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment.
7. Computer literate in any Customer Relationship Management Tool, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
8. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust.
9. Strong communication skills and a serving leader.

11. Ability to manage own time.
