Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a testing role requiring Nitec or higher qualification in Engineering and 1–3 years of challenging experience in a testing environment. Responsibilities include conducting analysis to troubleshoot product failures, collaborating with engineers, and maintaining test records. The ideal candidate is capable of multitasking, willing to work shifts, and possesses solid understanding of testing methodologies and basic programming knowledge.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a testing/debug environment.
- Able to work effectively with peers, engineers, and supervisors.
- Willing to perform shift work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing, analysis, and troubleshooting for product failures.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve yield.
- Maintain and update test tracking records.
Skills
Education
- Conduct testing, analysis, and troubleshooting for product failures; collaborate with process and test engineers to improve yield.
- Assist engineers in executing all test-related tasks.
- Support and implement various product configuration setups.
- Participate actively in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update test tracking records.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and production runs.
- Take part in ISO activities, including implementation and maintenance.
- Nitec or higher qualification in Engineering with 1–3 years of experience in a testing/debug environment.
- Able to work effectively with peers, engineers, and supervisors.
- Capable of multitasking and working under pressure.
- Willing to perform shift work.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and concepts.
- Basic programming knowledge and debugging skills.
