Job summary
A construction firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate who can prepare and submit competitive quotations, manage project documentation, and liaise with subcontractors. Responsibilities include sourcing and analyzing quotes, preparing specifications, and ensuring accuracy under stress. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and be team players, working Monday to Saturday with overtime and holiday policies as per MOM guidelines.
Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to collaborate and function effectively as a team player.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations.
- Gather and analyze quotes from subcontractors.
- Prepare specifications and bills of quantities.
- Manage project documentations and changes.
Skills
To receive incoming requests / invitations to quote or tender for work opportunities, review pertaining documentation or request for further and better particulars, review scope and drawings, extrapolate quantities from drawings, tabularize into excel spreadsheet. Thereafter Prepare Quotation’s and carry out submission.
Work includes preparing “invitation to quote” documentation and then acquiring quotations from sub-contractors to support tender & ITQ bid, evaluating, preparing contract and management of their progress and progress claims.
- Provide competitive quotations with profit sheets
- Able to plan and provide preliminary work schedules as required
- Ability in sourcing and organizing and quotations from all related sub-trades
- Check off quantity for tender and on-going projects
- Sourcing/enquiring, compile quotation and prepare cost analysis
- Preparation of specifications and bills of quantities
- Maintain proper and complete set of contract documents
- Manage project changes with documentation and issue Variation orders accordingly
- Any other duties assigned by QS Manager
- Able to work under stress
- Attention to detailed accuracy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
- Monday to Saturday 9:00am till 5:30pm
- Overtime follow MOM policy
- Holiday Leave follow MOM policy
- Sick Leave follow MOM policy
