A leading staffing services provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java L3 Production Support Lead. The candidate will manage high-impact production environments, ensuring system stability and reliability. Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java L3 Production Support Lead with strong hands-on coding abilities and deep expertise in managing high-impact production environments. The ideal candidate will excel in troubleshooting complex Java application issues, optimizing system performance, and driving DevOps-aligned practices to ensure stability, reliability, and scalability.
Lead L3 production support for mission-critical applications, ensuring high availability and timely incident resolution.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Java-based systems.
Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to enhance application performance and reliability.
Apply best practices for incident, problem, and root cause analysis following ITIL guidelines.
Automate recurring operational tasks to enhance efficiency.
Optimize SQL queries and overall database performance.
Monitor logs, system health, scheduled jobs, and application metrics for proactive issue detection.
Strong knowledge of Core Java (OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading).
Experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
Solid understanding of the Incident Management Lifecycle and ITIL processes.
Proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization; good grasp of indexing and performance tuning.
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix (log analysis, troubleshooting commands).
Shell scripting for basic automation (added advantage).
Hands-on experience with Autosys for job scheduling and monitoring.
A DevOps mindset, with familiarity in CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
Experience with caching tools such as Redis.
Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Knowledge of performance tuning for Java applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure, especially during critical incidents.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
