Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you! 

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

You will play a critical role in ensuring products meet regulatory standards, quality requirements, and are safe for consumption. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes and procedures throughout the product lifecycle, in order to uphold patient safety and product efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with regulatory changes.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.

• Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of quality control and assurance activities.
  • Review batch records, test results, and other relevant documents.
  • Manage and archive documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Quality Control:

  • Cross functional collaboration to establish quality control specifications and standards for raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products.
  • Perform product and process inspections, as well as risk assessments to identify potential quality issues.
  • Investigate and resolve deviations, non-conformances, and out-of-specification results.

• Change Management:

  • Assess and approve changes to processes, equipment, and manufacturing procedures to ensure they do not compromise product quality or regulatory compliance.
  • Implement change control procedures to track and document modifications.

• Supplier and Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance and initiate corrective actions.

• Risk Management:

  • Conduct risk assessments, identify potential quality and safety risks associated with products and processes.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to prevent recurring quality issues.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to optimize quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or a related discipline).
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards (GMP, GLP).
• Experience in quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and documentation tools.
