Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of energy companies, energy markets, and industry trends to identify investment and trading opportunities.
  • Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, production data, and cost structures to assess company performance and financial health within the energy sector.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses for energy-related securities, projects, or commodities.
  • Monitor and interpret commodity prices (oil, gas, power, carbon), supply-demand dynamics, geopolitical risks, and regulatory developments affecting energy markets.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and investment teams to develop sector-specific investment strategies and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present energy market reports, sector outlooks, and investment proposals to internal stakeholders or clients.
  • Track the performance of recommended investments and update views as market conditions change.
  • Stay current on technological advancements, energy transition trends, ESG considerations, and policy changes impacting the energy industry.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of research methodologies, data analytics, and sector coverage processes.
