Job Designation: F&B Service Crew
Accountability: Reports to F&B Assistant Manager / Manager
Working Days & Hours: As per roster / shift duty
Able to work on weekends and PH based on operational requirements
Job purpose
The F&B Service Crew is responsible for serving and clearing food and beverages to and from members in accordance with established service rules and procedures. This includes providing F&B services such as clearing soiled plates and processing billings as instructed by supervisors or captains. The role also involves greeting and ushering members to their seats, taking food and beverage orders, preparing the service area in advance, and replenishing stocks for daily use. Additionally, the F&B Service Crew is expected to guide and support new staff in maintaining service standards and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Job Description
- Know all your drinks and prices, recipes, garnishes and method of preparation for most common drinks.
- You must report to work on time. Keep your personal appearance immaculate, e.g., well-groomed hair, clean uniform etc.
- Before beginning your shift, you have to ensure that your supplies are sufficient eg. Check your side station etc. In short, be prepared and ready to work.
- Greet and usher the guests with a smile. Always be courteous and attentive.
- Beware of liquor laws and be careful of minors. Check with your supervisors if in doubt.
- Always keep your station spotless. Keep the station clean all the time and always be ready to offer a service.
- Keep your glassware and plates clean and sparkling. Do not touch a clean glass or even a soiled glass by the rim.
- Before you clear the partial empty glass, be sure the member does not want it anymore. Remember: ask first to be sure.
- Upon taking orders ensure you have the member’s membership card. No orders are allowed to be taken without any membership card.
- Do not argue with guest. If any unpleasant situation occurs, bring it to the attention of your supervisors.
- You are to ensure NO outside Food & Beverages is allowed to bring by members to be consumed in this premises.
- You are to ensure NO belongings of member’s to be kept in this outlet.
- Ample notice must be given if emergency prevents you from reporting to work on time. No matter what happens, inform your outlet supervisor. If your supervisor is not around- inform the duty managers.
- Be enthusiastic and cheerful at all times.
- Set the tables, take orders, and deliver the correct food to the corresponding tables.
- Able to operate Point of Sales (POS) systems when managing orders.
- Follow hygiene, safety and other standards, and carry out food and beverage operational tasks.
- Suggest areas for continuous improvement within own work area.
- Others:
- Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
- Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
- Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Secondary/ Vocational Institution
- 1 year of relevant experience with Food and Hygiene Certification
