Job summary
A construction company in Singapore is seeking candidates for an accounting position involving invoice processing, data entry, and payment planning. Candidates should have a background in accounting or commerce, with proficiency in MS Office. Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus. The ideal candidate will be meticulous and able to start on short notice.
Qualifications
- Prior working experience in the Construction industry is advantageous.
- Able to meet scheduled timelines.
- Able to start work on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Invoice coding and data entry into accounting system.
- Matching invoices with delivery orders and purchase/work orders.
- Processing payments by cheque or electronic transfer.
Skills
Education
- Invoice coding and data entry into accounting system.
- Matching invoice with delivery order and purchase/work orders.
- Ensure invoice has been verified by superiors/managers
- Planning and prepare payment to suppliers.
- Process payment by cheque or electronic transfer.
- Check and process staff claims.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superior.
- GCE ‘N’/‘O Level / 'A Level Certificate or Polytechnice/ITE Diploma in accounting /commerce.
- Prior working experience in Construction industry will be advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) and possesses good communication skills.
- Able to meet scheduled timelines.
- Meticulous and has positive work attitude.
- Able to start work on short notice.
- Actual position offered will depends on qualifications and work experience.
- Salary will be commensurate with qualification and /or work experience.
