IT System Development Project Manager & Delivery Lead
Job summary
A leading technology company based in Singapore seeks a Project Manager or Delivery Lead to oversee banking system development projects. The role involves managing project progress, reporting to clients, and leading diverse teams. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in IT, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong proficiency in both Japanese (native/JLPT N1) and English. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, and is detail-oriented.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in IT project management.
- Ability to manage project development from beginning to end.
- Must read, write and speak Japanese at a high level.
Responsibilities
- Play as Project Manager or Delivery Lead on banking system projects.
- Manage progress, milestones, and client communications.
- Organize teams and lead projects until completion.
Skills
Education
- Play as Project Manager (Project Management Office) or Delivery Lead on banking system development or implementation projects.
- Manage the progress and milestone. Promote and control the issue & ToDo. Organize the progress report and report to client’s management. Also, manage the cost and human resource.
- Communicate closely with clients, business & IT related members. Organize teams and lead until the project ends.
- Manage client’s expectations to maintain the company’s impressions at a positive level.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineer or Information Technology or related.
- IT Project Management Knowledge and Experiences.
- Must understand the overall software development life cycle.
- 3 or more years of experience of IT related project management or Delivery Lead. (Direct and manage project development from beginning to end)
- Project Management Delivery tasks such as approach and plan definition, status tracking, issue and risk identification and resolution, resource planning, and governance execution.
- Will be able to understand and follow the process of the banking system development or implementation project.
- Japanese & English Language Skills: Must read, write and speak Japanese at a high level (native / JLPT N1 or higher) to engage with our Japanese‑speaking clients and stakeholders. Must speak English at a high level (business English) to communicate with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Banking Operation or Systems Knowledge and Experiences (as possible): Will be able to understand the banking system structure, and high‑level banking business.
- Cheerful, good communication skill, able to work with team cohesively with high spirit.
- Highly self‑motivated, enthusiastic and able to work effectively with teams that have diverse IT aptitudes and cultural backgrounds.
- Attention to detail and highly organized, process‑focused attitude.
- Good conceptualization and analytical skills, enabling comprehension and development of solutions for complex business issues.
- Ability to manage short, medium, and long‑term planning horizons concurrently.
