This role focuses on balancing strong coding skills with production support expertise, ensuring the availability and reliability of critical applications. Candidates should have hands-on experience in Core Java, incident management, and a DevOps mindset. Key responsibilities include leading production support, optimizing application performance, and implementing best practices for incident management. - Lead L3 production support for critical applications.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues in Java applications.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize performance and reliability.
Conocimientos
We are looking for a seasoned Java L3 Production Support Lead who can balance strong coding skills with deep production support expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in Core Java, troubleshooting complex production issues, and implementing DevOps practices for stability and scalability.
- Lead L3 production support for critical applications, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of incidents.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues in Java‑based applications.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize performance and reliability.
- Implement best practices for incident management and root cause analysis.
- Automate recurring tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting and tools.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
- Monitor and analyze application logs, system health, and job executions.
- Core Java Concepts (OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading).
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
- Incident Management Lifecycle – strong understanding of ITIL processes.
- SQL Query Optimization – ability to write complex queries, use indexes effectively.
- Linux/Unix Basics – log analysis, troubleshooting commands.
- Shell Scripting – added advantage for automation.
- Autosys – job profiling and scheduling experience.
- DevOps Mindset – familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring tools, and production stability practices.
- Experience with caching (Redis or similar).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Knowledge of performance tuning for Java applications.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
