Chemical Engineer

Location: Tuas
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm
Entitled to AWS + VB + Bonuses + Profit Sharing

Responsibilities

• Manage repacking, containment, ICW operations, and maintenance while monitoring waste processes and backlogs.

• Ensure staff training, safety compliance, and adherence to SOPs and OJT programs.

• Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Conduct daily inspections and lead 5S/TPM, safety toolbox meetings, and PPE checks.

• Drive process improvements, cost control, and promote recycling efforts.

• Prepare reports, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with EHS and ISO 45001 standards.

• Work with lab chemists to explore new waste treatment methods and manage operation costs.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with engineering teams.
