Investment Analyst jobs in Brazil

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of accounts for the fleet, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Monitor vessel OPEX, drydocking, repair, and port costs, ensuring cost control.
• Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis.
• Oversee cash flow, payments, and liaise with banks, auditors, and external parties.
• Ensure crew wages, allotments, and related seafarer payments are properly handled.
• Provide guidance and light oversight to the HR team on payroll and HR administration.
• Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in vessel accounting; shipping or bunker tanker experience preferred.
• Familiarity with vessel cost components, crew payroll, and maritime operations.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ship management systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Some team supervision experience is an advantage, but the role is open to strong accountants willing to oversee light HR matters.
