Job description

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Vice President (Finance) to lead our financial management and planning functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, ensuring strong governance, optimizing performance and supporting growth objectives. Candidates with regional finance leadership experience and prior capital market exposure will have a distinct advantage.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Financial strategy and analysis: Provide professional financial analysis and insights to guide decision‑making and ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals. Monitor key financial performance indicators, identify trends and recommend strategies to optimize financial outcomes.
  2. Strategic financial planning: Work closely with CEO and CFO to define financial objectives, assess opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations. Develop comprehensive financial proposals and business cases for new initiatives, capital investments and potential partnerships.
  3. Investor relations and reporting: Interface with investors, analysts and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise financial updates.
  4. Risk management and compliance: Stay informed on latest changes in financial regulations and reporting standards and make necessary adjustments to financial practices. Implement effective risk‑management strategies to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Regional Finance Management (Preferred): Oversee or coordinate financial operations across multiple countries within the region. Ensure alignment with regional regulations, tax structures and reporting requirements.
  6. Capital Market/Public Company Readiness (Preferred): Support or lead initiatives related to capital market readiness, listing requirements, investor relations and regulatory compliance. Liaise with auditors, investment bankers, and external advisors as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field.
  • Proven experience in finance leadership role, demonstrating track record of financial strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Good command of English with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to read and understand documents written in Chinese, in order to perform work‑related reviews and ensure accuracy in documentation while collaborating with China offices.
  • Candidate with experience in HKEX and SGX reporting would have added advantage.
