Qualifications

Job Description

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review accounting schedules, account reconciliations, management reports, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST filings, corporate tax returns, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate audit processes by preparing audit schedules and addressing queries from external auditors.
• Review tax computations and collaborate with tax agents to oversee the tax filing process.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, company secretaries, and government bodies to ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and participate in annual stock-taking exercises.
• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register and general ledger.
• Evaluate, streamline, and enhance financial processes to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to the accounting team.
• Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline, with sound knowledge of Singapore FRS / IFRS standards.
• Professional qualifications such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, ICAEW, or CPA are preferred.
• Prior experience in Audit will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant accounting experience, with proven experience in leading a team.
• Proficient in ERP accounting systems (Synergix ERP experience is a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
• A proactive team player who works independently and communicates effectively.
