Job summary

A leading trading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance manager to oversee accounting, treasury management, and team leadership across locations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in finance, preferably with a Master’s degree and CPA/ACCA certification. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in ERP systems is a plus. The role includes compliance oversight and financial risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance with full-cycle close and IFRS reporting.
• Tax compliance and external audit coordination; Singapore/UAE exposure preferred.
• Willing to travel.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and the preparation of financial statements for the trading company.
• Oversee treasury/cash management and overall funding coordination for the trading company.
• Lead the setup of bank accounts and the development, maintenance, and administration of trade finance/credit facilities.
• Assist the Trading Company General Manager with the review of contracts, invoices, expense reimbursements, and other routine documents, and support financial risk control.
• Oversee tax management/compliance and coordinate external audits for the trading company.
• Manage the finance and trade-finance teams in Dubai and Singapore, and drive the continuous improvement of financial management policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Master’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 10+ years in finance with full-cycle close and IFRS reporting.
• Hands-on treasury and trade finance (LCs, guarantees); strong bank relations.
• Tax compliance and external audit coordination; Singapore/UAE exposure preferred.
• Proven cross-location team leadership; builds and enforces controls/policies.
• Fluent English (Mandarin a plus); proficient with ERP (SAP/Oracle) and Excel; willing to travel.
