IT Support Assistant
Job summary
A technology company in Singapore is looking for an IT Support professional. You will install and configure computer systems, monitor networks, and provide helpdesk support. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Information Technology, have at least one year of experience, and possess basic programming knowledge. This role may require overtime. Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in IT support.
- Able to perform overtime as necessary.
- Open to fresh diploma/degree graduates in IT.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Provide helpdesk or desk side support to employees.
Skills
Education
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Provide helpdesk support or desk side support to employees
- Troubleshoot system and network problems to diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
- Coordinate with external vendors to replace computer parts as and when required
- Set up new users accounts and profiles which include dealing with password issues
- Assist in Backup Management
- Any other IT-related operations and administrative duties as and when assigned
- Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or any equivalent discipline
- Minimum 1 years of work experience as IT support
- Knowledgeable about basic programming
- Able to perform overtime as and when necessary
- Possess good communication skills to deal with all levels of management staff
- Open to fresh diploma/degree graduate from IT
