Job summary
A financial services company located in Singapore seeks an experienced finance leader to develop long-term financial strategies and advise the executive team on investment and risk management. The role involves overseeing accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and optimizing working capital. Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies.
- Advise the CEO on financial planning and investment.
- Optimize working capital and manage financial relationships.
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning, risk, and investment strategies.
- Drive financial forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision support.
- Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and board presentations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial audits and filings.
- Lead annual budgeting processes and mid-year forecasts.
- Review departmental budgets and assess financial performance against targets.
- Identify variances and provide insight for corrective actions.
- Optimize working capital and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Analyze cost structures and recommend strategies to improve margins and profitability.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage, credit control policies, and risk assessment tools are in place.
- Monitor internal controls and safeguard company assets.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Set departmental KPIs and ensure staff development and succession planning.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to shareholders, board members, and key stakeholders.
