Job summary
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Contract Manager. The role involves managing pre/post-contract administration, preparing cost analyses, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with Singapore health and safety regulations. Candidates should possess a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. This position offers a salary range of $4,000 - $5,000 per month.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience in industrial projects.
- Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
- Good knowledge of materials and works for site usage.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Pre/Post-Contracts administration.
- Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
- Liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Assist in contract administration and prepare progress claims.
- Review and prepare responses for claims and variation costs.
Skills
Education
Basic: $4,000 - $5,000
Working Hours: 5 Days Mon-Fri (8:30am to 5:30pm)
Location: Jalan Kilang Timor, Redhill (Office)
- As part of Tender/Contracts Team responsible in Pre/Post-Contracts administration
- Prepare and analyze cost comparison
- Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
- To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative.
- Review and preparing of response for claims and variation costs;
- To compile subcontractor quotations and submit for review and approval;
- To review and verify the Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from various approving parties;
- Preparation of final accounts and variation submissions;
- Any other contracts management related job
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience in industrial projects.
- Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
- Good knowledge of Singapore health and safety rules and regulations.
- Good knowledge of materials and works for site usage
- Good knowledge on local pricings
