Contract Manager (Renewable Energy Experience Required)

A fast-growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Contract Manager to lead all commercial, contractual, and compliance activities across its project portfolio. This is a senior leadership role overseeing end-to-end contract lifecycle management right from bid stage, negotiation, execution, to project delivery, ensuring the business is protected, compliant, and commercially optimised.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Strategy & Governance

• Lead the full contract lifecycle for development, EPC, OEM, O&M, supply chain, land acquisition, and partnership agreements
• Establish and maintain policies, frameworks, and templates for all commercial contracts
• Ensure contracts are aligned with local regulations, permitting, and renewable-sector compliance requirements

Negotiation & Commercial Management

• Drive negotiation strategies with EPCs, contractors, suppliers, and service providers
• Anticipate commercial risks and structure terms that safeguard the business
• Review, assess, and negotiate claims, variations, and dispute resolutions

Project Support & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner closely with development, engineering, legal, finance, and project delivery teams
• Support bid submissions, RFPs, and government/utility procurement processes
• Advise leadership on contract risk exposure and mitigation strategies

Key Requirements

• Minimum 8 years in contract management within the renewable energy industry (solar, wind, BESS, or hybrid systems)
• Deep experience with EPC, O&M, supply, and development contracts for utility-scale projects
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record managing contractors in PH or APAC
• Solid understanding of project development cycles, permitting, and regulatory frameworks in the Philippines
• Leadership experience; able to build and scale contract governance processes.
