Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Contract Manager (M&E) to manage contract administration and support project execution. Responsibilities include liaising with various stakeholders, optimizing resources, and preparing contract documents. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma in Quantity Surveying or Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical and proficiency in software tools are essential. Competitive salary package offered.

  • Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with directors, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contractual matters.
  • Plan and coordinate project execution to optimize resources and timelines.
  • Handle full QS and contract administration duties, including valuations and budgeting.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, bills of quantities, and cost analyses.

Skills

Education

  • Office Location: Woodlands, Singapore
  • Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5.45pm
  • Monthly Salary: Base up to $7500 + Variable Bonus (VB)
  • Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Contract

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with directors, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contractual matters and support project requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate project execution to optimize resources, manpower, and timelines.
  • Handle full QS and contract administration duties, including valuations, variations, budgeting, cash flow, claims, payments, and final accounts.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, bills of quantities, and cost analyses.
  • Provide advice on claims, procurement strategies, and cost‑related matters.
  • Track project variations, assess completed work, and prepare progress claims.
  • Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance works, including preparation of catalogues and sample boards.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements
  • Minimum diploma in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or equivalent and recognized by relevant authority.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in industrial and residential projects.
  • Knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
  • Knowledge in Singapore Health and Safety rules and regulations.
