Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities include supporting the commercial team during project phases, assisting in tender preparation, and managing cost control. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, with at least 3 years of experience in a main contractor environment and knowledge of construction costs. A competitive salary package of up to $6,500 plus bonus is offered for this permanent position.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience within a main-con environment.
- Able to start immediately or in short notice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the commercial team in both pre-contract and post-contract phases.
- Assist with tender preparation including quantity measurement and cost summaries.
- Prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: Quantity Surveyor/ Executive QS
- Location: Central
- Working Hours: 5 days, Office Hours
- Salary Package: Up to $6,500 + Bonus
- Provide comprehensive support to the commercial team in both pre-contract and post-contract phases of fast-track projects.
- Assist with tender preparation, including quantity measurement, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost summaries, and price comparisons for tender submissions.
- Assist with the accurate preparation of progress payment claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts. Support the measurement and certification of subcontractor payments.
- Support project budgeting, cost control, and cash flow monitoring.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all site events, variations, and correspondence to support claims.
- Collaborate with and support project and safety teams on all commercial and site safety initiatives.
- Ensure all activities comply with company safety policies and relevant workplace health and safety legislation.
- At least Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience within a main-con environment.
- Knowledgeable in construction costs, methods, and materials.
- Able to start immediately or in short notice.
