Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely shipments and order fulfillment.
2. Coordinate with freight forwarders to obtain competitive freight quotations, provide quotes to the sales team, and secure bookings
3. Ensure all shipments are in compliance with the terms of the contract.
4. Maintain and update shipment records in the ERP system.
5. Accurately and promptly apply for Electronic Certificates of Origin (ECOO).
6. Coordinate with couriers, freight forwarder to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
7. Handle urgent shipments outside of regular working hours or on weekends, when required.
8. Ad-hoc logistics tasks assigned by the team leader.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling import/export and transshipment documentation.
2. Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes and compliance with customs clearance procedures and regulations in both Malaysia and Singapore. 3.
Possess strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, including Incoterms, from Malaysia to various countries, with a strong focus on the USA.
4. Strong learning ability; humble, patient, proactive, and detail-oriented.
5. Strong communication and expression skills
6. Highly responsible, emotionally stable, with a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure
7. Bilingualism is essential when handling export/import matters with China, the US, and Singapore, while trilingualism would be an advantage when dealing with Malaysia.
