This role will also be responsible for driving improvements in the contracting processes and developing supply chain contracting policy and procedures. The position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Contract review & management: Oversee end-to-end review of all supply chain and vendor contracts. Ensure each agreement meets operational requirements (pricing, delivery, quality standards) and complies with company policies before approval. Minimize liability of AE in its supply chain and vendor contracts.
  • Negotiation & issue resolution: Review and revise contracts, and directly negotiate contract terms with suppliers and suppliers’ suppliers within defined guidelines. Resolve commercial points and obtain input from other departments on specialized terms.
  • Policy and procedures development and implementation: Develop and establish a supply chain contracting policy and procedures and standard contract templates, and involve business units, legal, and other stakeholders in the development process. Continuously refine these policies and templates to reflect best practices, lessons learned, and changes in regulations or business needs.

Implement tools or practices (checklists, digital workflows, tracking KPIs) that improve efficiency and accuracy in contract management.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with internal teams to align contract terms with supply needs and to ensure supplier performance meets contract terms. Proactively communicate any contractual obligations or changes to these stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of supply agreements.

  • Experience working on cross-department initiatives (such as developing company-wide policies, systems implementation, or cross-functional task forces) that required coordination between supply chain, legal, and other teams.
  • Excellent contracts reviewing and revising, negotiation, and communication skills; able to balance achieving favorable terms with maintaining positive supplier relationships. Demonstrated ability to independently resolve contract-related issues and make sound decisions on when to involve legal or senior management.
