Job summary
A staffing consultancy in Singapore is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the Contracts Department. The role entails overseeing tender processes, managing disputes, and coordinating with finance for contract revenues. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and at least 5 years of experience in Contracts Administration or Quantity Surveying. This position offers a salary range of $4500 to $5500 per month, with working hours Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in Contracts Administration or Quantity Surveying field.
- Knowledge in quantity surveying and contracts administration.
- Familiarity with dispute resolution techniques.
Responsibilities
- Heading the Contracts Department in tendering, estimation, procurement, and administration.
- Overseeing measurement and tender documentation processes.
- Coaching Quantity Surveyors under the team.
- Endorse payment responses and manage post contract administration.
- Build relationships with customers and coordinate with subcontractors.

Education
Role: Contracts Manager
- Location: Changi North Street 1
- Salary: $4500 - $5500
- Working Hours: Mon to Fri | 8am – 5:30pm
- Heading the Contracts Department in both pre and post contract functions, in tendering, estimation, procurement, contracts administration, cost control & reporting, cash flow monitoring and dispute resolution to meet project objectives.
(A) Specific:
- Overseeing the measurement and tender documentation processes.
- Establishing tender and procurement strategies and advises on relevant contracts for suppliers, specialists and subcontractors.
- Reviewing cost estimations and monitors cash flow forecasts.
- Endorsing payment responses and final accounts and establishes policies for payments and post contract administration matters.
- Working to mitigate risks and advises on dispute resolution techniques when necessary.
- Coordinating with finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of contractual revenues.
(B) General:
- Building relationships with customers and liaises with suppliers, specialists and subcontractors to help develop resource plans and monitor costs and profitability of construction works to deliver the project objectives.
- Coaching and developing Quantity Surveyors under the team to their full potential.
- Any other duties as assigned by superior.
(C) Safety:
- Be aware of Occupational health and Safety Policy.
- Follow the Company safety procedures, rules and regulations.
- Eliminate or reduce hazard at the workplace.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Project Management, Construction Management or similar field.
- Possess knowledge in quantity surveying, contracts administration, and dispute resolution.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Contracts Administration or Quantity Surveying field.
