Job summary
A leading food service company in Singapore seeks a Finance Manager to oversee finance functions, ensure accurate account closing, and manage customer relationships. Candidates must have proficiency in English, Tamil, and Malay, and be willing to work weekends and public holidays. The role involves financial analysis and reporting, risk assessments, and effective communication with various departments, aiming for sustainable sales growth and timely project management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee finance and accounting functions.
- Ensure closing of full set of accounts.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics.
- Conduct risk assessment for new contracts.
- Preparation of various financial statements and reports.
Skills
- Must need to work on Weekend and Public holidays Must have Proficiency to speak English, Tamil, and malay
- Supervise and oversee the finance and accounting functions.
- Ensure closing of full set of accounts
- Bi-annual stock take and stock reconciliation
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
- Conduct risk assessment for new contracts and provide analysis report
- Preparation of various financial statements, management and statutory report
- Consolidate finance and accounting results, financial budgets, projections, forecast and monthly management reports for review
- Liaise with external auditors and other authorities
- Manage the customer relationship
- Achieve profitable, sustainable sales growth with the customer in line with, or in excess of targets mutually agreed upon.
- Contribute to the overall strategy that ensures a distinct point of difference to customers in this specific space and introduce the concept of Integrated
- Solutions where appropriate Provide accurate sales forecasts
- Responsible for quotes and pricing negotiations
- Accountable for all communications with the customer and constantly keep Customer Service and Operations departments updated to ensure timely delivery of orders and all documents related to legal and quality issues and specifications.
- Overall manage the relationships between the different functions from the customer.
- Take ownership of the core team which includes the Commercial Support and the Technical & Marketing support individuals attached to each account.
- Provide (on time) together with Business Development strategy all information necessary all matters relating to the service of the accounts.
- Manage the relationship with Creation, Application, and other departments and monitor project progress.
- Responsible for the project pipeline and the accurate and timely use and maintenance of all information entered into the project management system.
- Develop account plans for the most important accounts
- Attend, on request, category team meetings and provide feedback to the local teams.
