Role summary
We’re looking for a sharp, people-friendly Business Development Executive to help us grow parent enquiries and test new business opportunities across the Learning Point Group
This role is hands-on: you’ll do real groundwork (outreach, centre visits, booths/roadshows) and support new venture exploration (e.g. franchising, and other new revenue streams). More than experience, we care about critical thinking — someone who can structure a problem, propose a practical approach, test it, learn fast, and improve.
What you’ll do
Lead generation & outreach (parents)
- Build lead lists and prospecting pipelines (parents, communities, partner networks)
- Run Outreach (calls/messages/email) and follow-ups to drive visits, trials, and next steps
- Capture and qualify leads, ensuring warm handover to the centre team when needed
Partnerships & collaborations
- Identify and approach parent-facing partners (communities, organisers, corporates, schools/vendors where relevant)
- Propose collaboration ideas and activate them into real lead-generating channels
- Maintain Partner relationships and keep collaborations moving (not one-off)
Groundwork & field activations
- Execute on-the-ground lead generation: booths/roadshows, community events, centre visits, open houses
- Represent the brand confidently on-site: engage parents, answer questions, secure sign-ups
- Support the set-up and logistics to ensure activations run smoothly
New ventures: market research → launch preparation →execution
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify promising new opportunities
- Support preparation to launch new ventures
- Help validate demand through structured testing (small pilots), track outcomes, and recommend next actions
- See initiatives through to execution by coordinating stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
Internal coordination & execution follow-through
- Coordinate with centre, marketing, ops, and teaching teams to execute initiatives end-to-end
- Turn learnings into simple playbooks/SOPs so what works becomes repeat
What we’re looking for
- Fresh graduates or 1–2 years experience (any discipline)
- Strong critical thinking: you can structure problems, spot what matters, and propose a clear next step
- Comfortable being customer-facing: warm, confident communicator with parents
- Execution-minded: you follow through, you don’t disappear after the first message
- Organised and reliable with basic Sheets/Excel skills
Nice-to-have (not required): experience in outreach, sales, community partnerships, education, or events.
