What The Day Will Look Like

• Meet with key stakeholders and user groups to gather and analyze requirements.
• Analyze workflow to document process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.
• Analyze the functional impact of initiatives to the whole platform and related applications.
• Develop functional specifications that design and document desired outcome of system enhancement/development.
• Produce technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms to developers and the project team.
• Execute comprehensive integration tests and work closely with the development team to coordinate deployment activities.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement/development.
• Prepare material and provide training and assistance to end-users following implementation.
• Work as a crucial component of a project team responsible for designing new solutions, enhancing existing systems, and developing new features.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Degree / master's with 3-5 years' experience in finance, insurance, software industry or consulting in similar roles.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively connect with end-users and technical teams at all organizational levels.
• Comprehensive understanding of the systems/software development life cycle.
• Proficient technical knowledge in programming, system design, IT infrastructure, and database concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret business needs to develop suitable technical solutions.
• Superior technical specification writing and documentation skills.
• Proficient in tools and technologies such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Excel, SQL, R, and Python.
• Proven experience in delivering products within the finance and insurance industry.
• Proven experience with various software delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX, user-centric, and design driven product development.
