About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team on a 1-year contract. You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business process owners to gather and document dashboard/reporting requirements.
• Analyse business processes and reporting needs to design effective BI solutions.
• Create dashboard specifications and wireframes.
• Acquire, clean, and mine data from various sources to uncover trends and insights.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Apply statistical techniques (descriptive and inferential) to analyse data.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using BI tools.
• Work with databases and data sources to build and query data models.
• Support broader innovation efforts through ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Business Analytics, or Advanced Diploma in data-related fields.
• Proficient in SQL and Advanced Excel.
• Skilled in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Microsoft Access.
• Strong understanding of visual communication principles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Knowledge of programming for advanced statistical analysis is a plus.
