Job description
Responsibilities
  • Hands on experience in IT system implementations across financial domains including Financial Accounting (knowledge on transaction movements, accruals, reversals for trading and banking book).
  • Liquidity Management.
  • Credit risk management (Collateral Management, Counterparty Risk).
  • Regulatory Reporting (knowledge on Basel IV; SACCR preferred).
  • Core banking knowledge (Loan/Deposit lifecycle).
  • Knowledge of performance and profitability indicators for assets managed by the bank.
  • Knowledge of Temenos/TRANSACT.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the Banking Wealth Management industry.
  • Experience working throughout the entire IT project life cycle, including analyzing and documenting requirements, workshops, testing and stakeholder management.
  • Good knowledge and working capability of product life cycle concepts such as loans, deposits, forex, derivatives, guarantees, securities, etc.
  • Knowledge of accounting/finance group reporting system implementation lifecycle.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the information flow and various business functions in a financial services/bank.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Able to conduct workshops with business teams and challenge requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams and work effectively with groups spread across various regions.
  • Strong critical thinker with problem-solving aptitude.
  • Responsible and well-organized in managing work across each project phase.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
