Job Description
Business Function
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework for the responsible and ethical use of generative AI (Gen-AI) technologies within DBS Bank's operations and service offerings
Establish policies, guidelines, and control measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to Gen-AI deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, risk, compliance, and business units, to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the integration of Gen-AI
Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to senior management on the strategic implications and opportunities of leveraging Gen-AI within the banking industry
Oversee the development and implementation of robust prompt engineering practices to ensure the reliability, transparency, and accountability of Gen-AI models used within the bank
Establish and maintain a comprehensive AI literacy program to educate and empower employees on the responsible use of Gen-AI technologies
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging best practices related to Gen-AI governance, and continuously adapt the bank's approach to stay ahead of the curve
Requirements
Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of AI/ML principles and applications
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on AI governance and risk management
Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive governance frameworks for the responsible use of emerging technologies, including a deep understanding of prompt engineering and its implications
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the deployment of Gen-AI
Proven track record of driving organizational change and fostering a culture of AI literacy and responsible innovation
Familiarity with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI
