Job description

12 month Contract position with potential to extend/convert

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable data science and AI models to address complex business and research problems
• Translate business and strategic objectives into clear, actionable data science and machine learning requirements
• Lead the development and optimisation of LLM-powered chatbots and conversational agents, including Generative and Agentic AI solutions
• Develop and evaluate machine learning models across structured and unstructured dataCommunicate insights, results, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s or PhD is preferred.
• Proven hands‑on experience building and delivering AI or data‑driven solutions in real‑world environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with practical experience using modern AI frameworks and tools
• Experience with advanced analytics (customer modelling, clustering, geospatial, churn); plus model lifecycle management, experiment tracking, and LLM cost/performance optimisation.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and operating AI solutions on public cloud
