Job summary
A leading offshore services company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage tax-related issues and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a CPA qualification and have experience with Big 4 audits. Responsibilities include preparing corporate tax filings, coordinating audits, and managing accounting processes. This role offers an opportunity to support process improvements in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Experience with tax filings and audits.
- Ability to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Experience in financial document management.
Responsibilities
- Resolve tax-related issues with the tax department.
- Prepare corporate tax filings with tax agents.
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance of financial documents with regulations.
- Manage accounting processes related to bunker.
- Maintain GCR and MDR systems.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements.
- Handle ad hoc finance and administrative matters as assigned.
Skills
Education
- Work with the tax department to resolve tax-related issues.
- Liaise with tax agents for the preparation and completion of corporate tax and withholding tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the completion of annual audited financial statements.
- Ensure all financial documents comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage bunker-related accounting and reconciliation processes, ensuring timely recording and reporting.
- Oversee and maintain GCR and MDR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements as required.
- Handle ad hoc finance and administrative matters as assigned by management.
- Big 4 audit experience preferred.
- Prior commercial or industry experience is an advantage.
- CPA qualification (or equivalent professional certification) required.
