A leading hotel in Medina is looking for an IT Officer to manage technical support and maintain IT systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, ensuring functionality of hardware and software, managing IT infrastructure, and assisting colleagues with their IT needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support and a keen understanding of emerging technology. As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for providing essential technical support and maintaining IT systems and equipment. Your role includes troubleshooting IT issues, ensuring hardware and software functionality, and assisting colleagues with their IT-related needs.
- Provide technical support to colleagues for IT hardware and software problems.
- Diagnose and resolve IT issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance and management of IT infrastructure and devices.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
- Conduct regular system checks, backups, and software updates.
- Keep records of IT equipment, licenses, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security measures and protocols.
- Assist colleagues with IT-related inquiries and offer training as required.
- Monitor the performance, security, and data integrity of IT systems.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and technology rollouts.
- Stay informed about emerging technology trends and provide recommendations.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and technical guidelines.
- Support in the procurement and evaluation of IT hardware and software.
- Assist in IT-related documentation and reporting tasks.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to safeguard the health and safety of guests and colleagues, as well as contribute to environmental conservation.
