Job summary
A leading FMCG company in Jeddah is urgently hiring a Tax Accountant. The role involves ensuring compliance with KSA tax regulations, preparing tax filings, and providing guidance to minimize tax risk. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and have at least three years of relevant corporate tax experience, particularly in managing audits and interactions with tax authorities. Proficient English is required, and the position is on-site in Industrial City.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate tax.
- Experience with Excise Tax and withholding tax is a MUST.
- Experience managing interactions with auditors and tax authorities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with KSA tax regulations and monitor changes.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Provide tax guidance to minimize risk and identify savings.
Skills
Education
Location: Jeddah
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate tax within a multinational or large organization, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Experience with Excise Tax and withholding tax is a MUST.
- Strong knowledge of KSA tax laws.
- Experience managing tax audits, appeals, and interactions with auditors and tax authorities.
- Good spoken English
- Ensure full compliance with KSA tax regulations and monitor changes in legislation.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (VAT, WHT, Excise Tax).
- Provide tax guidance and support to business units to minimize risk and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Manage and maintain accurate tax records and databases.
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities during audits and investigations.
- Review and validate AR transactions related to tax compliance and reconciliations.
- Lead initiatives to improve tax reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support process improvements and the implementation of tax best practices across the company.
Note: This is a 5-day on-site role based in Industrial City (Al-Mahjar District), Jeddah.
