Senior Maintenance Technician - Full Time - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job purpose:

Responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment and systems. The role requires strong mechanical expertise combined with electrical knowledge to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Special focus on critical production machinery such as CNC machines, Overhead Cranes, Lathes, Drills, and Compressors.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, advanced troubleshooting, and timely repairs on a diverse range of critical industrial equipment, including CNC machines, Lathes, Drills, Compressors etc.
• Maintenance Execution: Execute and optimize the scheduled preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Mechanical Expertise: Accurately diagnose, repair, and overhaul complex mechanical systems, including power transmission components, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Electrical Proficiency: Handle essential electrical maintenance tasks such as wiring, motor control circuit troubleshooting, sensor calibration/replacement, and basic electrical fault diagnosis.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, spare parts consumption, and equipment history.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety standards (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, PPE requirements) and company maintenance policies during all work execution.
• Operational Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with Production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime and proactively contribute to improving overall operational efficiency.
• Installation & Commissioning: Provide technical support and hands‑on assistance during the installation, testing, and commissioning of new plant machinery and equipment.
• General Facility Support: Carry out general facility maintenance and support tasks (e.g., painting, basic plumbing/carpentry, equipment movement) as needed to maintain the facility's functionality.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical trade certification.
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of progressive, hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance within a heavy manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of critical equipment, including CNC machines, Lathes, Overhead Cranes, Drills, Compressors, etc.
