About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Cum Admin Executive to join our team at CUPID JEWELLERY SDN BHD in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and administrative duties for the company.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

Preparing and filing financial reports, statements, and tax documents in a timely manner

Handling payroll processing and employee reimbursements

Providing administrative support, such as managing correspondence, filing, and archiving documents

Assisting with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and administrative role, experience in the jewellery or trading industry is an advantage.

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications, such as ACCA or CIMA, would be an advantage

Knowledge of e-invoicingis a plus.

Good communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
