Requirements

• Good command of Mandarin (reading & writing); able to communicate in basic English and Malay.
• Proactive, strong teamwork spirit with excellent cross‑functional communication skills.
• Diploma/Degree in Quality, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality system management; manufacturing or automotive industry experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001 and other quality management system requirements.
• ISO9001 Internal Auditor qualification required; IATF16949 or ISO14001 Lead Auditor qualification is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), QMS systems and SPC tools.
• Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities and cross‑department coordination capability.
• Detail‑oriented, disciplined, logical and highly responsible.
• Able to work in both office and production floor environments; willing to support audits and improvement projects.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and capability.

Responsibilities

System Establishment & Maintenance

• Establish, implement and maintain ISO9001 / IATF16949 quality management systems.
• Prepare, update and control quality manuals, procedures and work instructions to ensure completeness and effectiveness.
• Organize internal audits and management reviews to ensure system effectiveness.
• Coordinate customer and third‑party audits, ensuring smooth audit process with no major non‑conformities.

Quality Control

• Develop inspection standards for raw materials, in‑process and finished products, ensuring inspection accuracy and coverage.
• Implement SPC process control and CPK analysis to ensure stable and controlled key processes.
• Lead major quality issue investigations using 8D methodology and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage calibration schedules for measuring instruments and gauges to ensure compliance.

Quality Improvement

• Lead at least 6 QCC or quality improvement projects annually.
• Drive PDCA improvement cycles to enhance quality performance and KPI achievement.
• Analyze quality cost structure and promote continuous quality cost reduction.
• Establish fast‑response and closed‑loop mechanisms for customer complaints to improve customer satisfaction.

Supplier Management

• Develop supplier quality evaluation systems to improve incoming quality consistency.
• Conduct monthly IQC performance evaluation and perform supplier on‑site audits.
• Drive supplier improvement projects and verify improvement effectiveness.

Team Development

• Establish skill matrices for quality personnel to ensure competency compliance.
• Provide training on quality tools and quality system knowledge to enhance team capability.
• Develop quality KPI assessment mechanisms covering all quality functions.
• Coach engineers and inspectors to improve skill levels and strengthen talent retention.
