  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements
  • Location: Candidate must be willing to work at Berjaya CKE International Sdn. Bhd.'s Factory in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
  • Education: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Welding or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Relevant work experience in the production of kitchen equipment and commercial refrigerators or steel fabrication is an advantage.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mass production welding standards and quality inspection procedures.
  • Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's relevant experience.
  • 10 Full‑time positions available.
Technical Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work orders.
  • Knowledge of metal types, thicknesses and appropriate welding techniques.
  • Skilled in setting up, operating and maintaining welding machines and tools.
  • Basic grinding, cutting and finishing skills for metal components.
  • Understanding of welding symbols, measurements and tolerances.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and health regulations (OSH) in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Handle and perform welding tasks on small, medium, and large bore pipes made from various metals in production operations.
  • Be an expert in MIG, TIG and Stick welding on metal components and assemblies.
  • Demonstrate neat and clean welding workmanship.
  • Support production operations in the product assembly process.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work instructions to determine welding requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding machines, grinders and cutting tools.
  • Inspect completed welds for defects, accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Carry out basic maintenance on welding equipment and ensure tools are in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements at all times.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to meet daily output targets.
  • Report any faults, quality issues or equipment problems to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
