Job description

Repair damaged metal building components, including steel columns, trusses, fencing, and sliding doors.

Perform basic welding and repairs on industrial piping systems (water, air, or steam lines) if required.

Perform minor concreting works (repairing cracked floors, driveways, or equipment foundations) and basic bricklaying/plastering for wall repairs.

Conduct touch-up painting for walls, safety lines, and anti-corrosion coating for metal structures.

Inspect and patch factory roof leaks, replace gutters, and clear/repair industrial drainage systems.

Assist in hanging signage, fixing door closers/locks, and other ad-hoc building maintenance tasks.

Ensure "Hot Work Permits" are applied for and safety measures (fire watch, fire extinguishers) are in place before welding.

Maintain a clean workshop and ensure all construction debris is disposed of according to environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Possess a Professional Certificate or SKM (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) Level 2/3 in Welding
• Valid CIDB Green Card
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Facility Maintenance or the Construction Industry.
• Expertise in welding steel, stainless steel, and mild steel.
