Job summary

A logistics management company located in Lumut is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching products. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics and 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Job description

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching.

  • Ensure proper handling, labelling and stacking of materials in line with company policies.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Oversee proper use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and weighing scales.
Inventory & Documentation
  • Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and reconciliation with system records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory reports in ERP/Excel systems.
  • Ensure timely documentation for material movement, delivery orders, GRN (Goods Received Notes) and stock issuance.
Leadership
  • Lead and guide warehouse staff, assign daily tasks and monitor work performance.
  • Provide on-the-job training for warehouse crew, especially in safety handling and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage manpower allocation for shifts, overtime, and urgent dispatch requirements.
Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage and regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce cleanliness and orderliness (5S practices) in the warehouse.
  • Report and address any unsafe practices, equipment malfunctions or workplace hazards.
Coordination & Communication
  • Liaise with Procurement, Production, QA/QC and Logistics departments for smooth material flow.
  • Coordinate with transporters for timely loading/unloading and delivery.
  • Support internal and external audits related to warehouse operations.
Job Requirements

Education: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse/logistics experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role (manufacturing environment preferred).

Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS or Microsoft Excel for stock management.
  • Forklift driving license is an advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Chinese is an advantage for coordination with management).
  • Problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
