Job summary

A company specialized in lumber operations in Malaysia is looking for warehouse staff responsible for inspecting and organizing deliveries of lumber and plywood. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, be able to clearly differentiate between lumber and plywood, and have the ability to perform safety inspections while maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and document incoming lumber and plywood deliveries.

• Monitor stock levels and notify planner for replenishment.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure proper labeling.
• Report quality issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Prepare and stage materials for internal use or delivery.

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect and document incoming lumber and plywood deliveries.
• Organize and store materials according to size, type and grade.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
• Monitor stock levels and notify planner when replenishment is needed.

2. Quality Control

• Inspect materials for defects, damage, or non‑conformance with specifications.
• Ensure proper labelling and segregation of different lumber and plywood types.
• Report quality issues promptly to the supervisor or quality assurance team.

3. Warehouse Organization and Safety

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to ongoing safety initiatives.

4. Support to Production and Logistics

• Prepare and stage materials for internal use or customer delivery.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet material requirements efficiently.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and ensuring timely dispatch of orders.

5. Ensure the procurement process complies with RBA and ISO 9001 procedures.

6. Understand the requirements for a QMS, including documented information, planning and determining process interactions.

7. Any other task from time to time.
