Job description
Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Support (On-site & External)

  • Stationed on-site to support daily warehouse operations, including manpower coordination and vehicle scheduling.
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, and handling of spare parts and finished goods at external warehouse facilities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, system transactions, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support efficient space utilization, stock rotation, and replenishment activities.
  • Assist in periodic inventory checks, cycle counts, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and warehouse hygiene requirements.
  • Coordinate defective stock disposal processes in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform additional operational duties as assigned.
SOP & 6S Execution
  • Execute and monitor compliance with established SOPs for:
    • Receiving
    • Shelving & storage
    • Stocktaking & cycle counting
    • Picking & dispatch
    • Reverse logistics handling
  • Support implementation and upkeep of 6S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety).
  • Report non-compliance, abnormalities, and improvement opportunities to management.
Order Fulfilment & Logistics Coordination
  • Support timely and accurate order processing, picking, and dispatch activities.
  • Coordinate truck scheduling and loading arrangements to improve turnaround time.
  • Assist in coordinating East Malaysia sea freight shipments (to & fro), including documentation and follow-up with service providers.
Reverse Logistics & Defective Parts Handling
  • Track defective part returns and ensure timely processing and closure.
  • Support reverse logistics activities including:
    • Scrap disposal
    • Return to HK warehouse
    • Local tender-related handling
  • Maintain proper records, status tracking, and reporting.
Billing, Claims & Reporting
  • Prepare and verify warehouse and logistics billing statements.
  • Support follow-up on logistics claims cases (damage, loss, delays).
  • Prepare regular operational reports (inventory accuracy, order status, reverse logistics progress).
Performance Monitoring & Improvement Support
  • Monitor operational KPIs such as inventory accuracy and order fulfilment rate.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving actions.
  • Utilize spare part management system and digital tools for transaction processing, tracking, and reporting.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams (after-sales, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with external warehouse operators and logistics partners.
  • Provide on-the-job support and basic guidance to warehouse personnel when required.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Exposure to external warehouse or 3PL operations is an advantage.
  • Experience handling bonded goods is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
  • Familiarity with SOP-driven environments and 6S principles.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, WMS, or similar systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with clear instructions.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
