Job summary

A logistics company in Johor Bahru is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in logistics or a related field and at least three years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory role. Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of products.

Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.

Supervise a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment.

Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

Liaise with transportation companies to schedule and track deliveries.

Resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments, inventory, or orders.

Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving performance.

Job Requirement
  • At least Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience 3 years in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management best practices and warehouse procedures.
  • Familiarity with Autocount systems and inventory management software.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Problem‑solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Must be able to speak and read Mandarin. Mandarin is required as candidates will need to liaise with China dealers.
  • Forklift certification and experience (preferred).
