Introduction
Decathlon is looking for a self-starter willing to take on the challenge of setting up our B2B sales channel. We are looking to expand our business model and sales penetration within the Asia market. The overall goal is to drive volume orders through other retailers, groups, sports clubs, 3rd party niche websites, school districts and more.
A B2B or business-to-business service is one where there are one or more commercial transactions between two businesses, as opposed to goods being delivered directly to the end-user or customer.
Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations
- Assist in daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate stock handling, labeling, and placement according to warehouse layout.
- Support inbound and outbound shipment processes.
- Inventory Management
- Assist in regular stock counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
- Report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors.
- Help maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Sports Equipment Handling (Sport Leader Role)
- Specialize in managing sports-related products and equipment within the warehouse.
- Ensure correct storage, packaging, and quality checks of sporting goods.
- Provide product knowledge support when required (e.g., assisting team on handling sensitive/specialized items).
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow warehouse safety rules, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
- Teamwork & Support
- Work closely with supervisors, team leaders, and other warehouse staff to achieve daily targets.
- Assist in training new staff or colleagues when required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency.
