Job Summary

The Warehouse and Maintenance & Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, maintenance activities, and workplace safety. This role ensures efficient storage and distribution of goods, proper maintenance of facilities and equipment, and full compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management through proper systems and documentation.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and minimize handling time.
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and investigate variances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings, warehouse equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
  • Coordinate with internal maintenance technician and external contractors for repair and servicing works.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are safe, functional, and properly maintained.
  • Maintain maintenance schedules, records, and reports.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety and health policies in compliance with DOSH and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
  • Organize safety training and emergency drills for staff.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices at all times.
  • Lead, supervise, and train warehouse, maintenance, and safety staff.
  • Prepare duty rosters, performance evaluations, and manpower planning.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as QA, HR, Purchasing, and Production.
  • Prepare operational, safety, and maintenance reports for management review.
Requirements
