Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and flexible Videographer to join our growing team at CMi Printing & Event Management Sdn. Bhd. The role involves capturing wedding and event moments, producing marketing content, and supporting CMi’s branding across multiple digital platforms.

This position requires candidates who are passionate about videography, able to work in a fast-paced event environment, and flexible to work on weekends on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities

Event Videography

• Capture professional video footage for weddings and events at all CMi halls.
• Record key moments such as arrivals, processions, ceremonies, speeches, crowd reactions, and highlights.
• Capture hall ambience, décor details, lighting, stage setup, catering arrangements, and overall event flow.
• Follow the event timeline closely while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Marketing & Content Creation

• Produce promotional and branding videos for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
• Record testimonials, promotional campaigns, behind-the-scenes content, and internal materials.
• Collaborate with the Brand & Content team to execute creative concepts aligned with CMi’s branding.

Video Editing & Delivery

• Edit video content according to CMi brand guidelines and content standards.
• Prepare videos in appropriate formats for different platforms (vertical and horizontal).
• Add music, captions, transitions, and basic color correction when required.
• Ensure timely delivery of edited content according to project timelines.

Equipment & File Management

• Maintain and ensure proper condition of all video equipment including cameras, batteries, stabilizers, lighting, and accessories.
• Ensure equipment readiness before each shoot or event.
• Organise, back up, and manage video files systematically using cloud or external storage.

Event Coordination & Operations Support

• Coordinate with Event Coordinators, Floor Managers, Marketing, and Operations teams during events and shoots.
• Adhere to CMi SOPs and professional conduct during all assignments.
• Be flexible and responsive to changes during live events.

Quality Control & Continuous Improvement

• Propose creative ideas to enhance video quality and storytelling.
• Stay updated with current videography and social media trends.
• Maintain a professional image and represent CMi positively at all times.

Working Arrangement

• Flexible working hours depending on event schedules.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography and basic video editing.
• Familiar with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
