Job Title: Video Editor

Summary

MAG9 Production is an animation production house based in Seremban, known for bringing Kak Tisha to Malaysia and creating engaging edutainment content. We are looking for a creative and passionate person to join our team and support the production of high-quality videos and animations for our projects.

Success in this role means creating compelling visual content that entertains and educates our audience while meeting deadlines and maintaining brand quality. You’ll work closely with our creative team to bring ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for digital platforms, ensuring smooth transitions and high-quality output.
• Assist in conceptualizing storyboards and visual treatments for new content.
• Collaborate with team members to develop creative solutions for edutainment projects.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to production timelines.
• Support in media shoots and content production when needed.
• Knowledge in animation software (e.g., Moho or other related tools) will be considered an added advantage.
• Provide support for any supplementary assignments aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, Film, Digital Arts, Creative Arts, or a related field.
• Good skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar).
• Familiarity with animation principles and basic illustration (bonus for 3D experience).
• Strong sense of creativity, attention to detail, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn from industry professionals.

Salary

• RM2,000 – RM2,500 per month (depending on experience and skills).
