We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Content Editor who can turn ideas into compelling visual stories. This role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling, brand/IP positioning, and can craft engaging videos across marketing, events, campaigns, and digital platforms.
You will create concepts, support shoots, build story flows, and edit high-impact content that strengthens the company's brand identity across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
- Work closely with IP, Creative, Marketing, and Event teams to understand project goals
- Develop video concepts, storylines, hooks, and narratives for both short-form and long-form content
- Create story flows that are engaging, clear, and consistent with brand identity
- Understand audience behaviour and platform trends to craft relevant content
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit raw footage into polished, professional, and visually consistent videos
- Produce long-form (interviews, training, corporate, testimonials) and short-form (ads, reels, teasers) content
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and overlays
- Apply colour correction, audio cleanup, stabilisation, and refinement
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, IP standards, and visual guidelines
Multi-Platform Adaptation
- Repurpose content into multiple formats (16:9, 1:1, 9:16)
- Create platform-specific edits for social media, ads, presentations, campaigns, or internal use
- Optimise videos for engagement, clarity, and performance across channels
Asset Management
- Organise and manage video files, project folders, and archives
- Maintain a clean and trackable naming and filing system
- Coordinate with the IP team for updates, revisions, and new content releases
Requirements
- Proficiency in AI editing tools, JianYing, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software
- Strong communication skills (Mandarin required; English is a plus)
- Strong storytelling ability and sense of visual flow
- Ability to edit both long-form and short-form content
- Strong attention to pacing, colour, audio, and design details
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Portfolio required (story-driven videos, social content, ads, or creative edits)
Nice to Have
- Motion graphics or animation skills
- Experience directing shoots or guiding talent on camera
- Familiarity with social media content trends
