Job description
Validation and Verification Engineer - Junior

As a member of the Engineering Team at OnLogic, you will help ensure the quality and functionality of OnLogic’s portfolio of products by leading the definition and implementation of our next-generation Test Strategy. You will improve our existing validation and testing coverage for internal development projects and COTS product offerings. You will work globally and cross-functionally, primarily engaging with the Electrical, Mechanical, and Applications Engineering teams on multiple concurrent projects.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Improve our manufacturing and test capabilities by recognizing what problems need to be solved today, and what will need to be solved in the future.
  • Generate design requirements and orchestrate the implementation of scalable, extensible test automation processes and procedures.
  • Help meet production goals by improving efficiencies related to the manufacturing test automation process (e.g. system boot, functional verification, and OS deployment).
  • Collaborate with hardware development teams to implement post system assembly test procedures for new technologies and features of Industrial PCs and Edge Servers.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure, Service, and IT teams to design and deploy robust solutions for storing and retrieving system test results and logs

Requirements

  • Some experience in validating systems made up of electrical and mechanical components, including evaluation of power rails, digital signal integrity, and thermals.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in Engineering or related field
  • 1-5 years of experience within the product development cycle; conceptualizing approaches, implementing tests, analyzing and sharing results, and creating thorough documentation.
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check

The salary range for this role is MYR50,000 to MYR80,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
