Job summary

A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled IT Technician to manage onsite preventive maintenance and provide technical support. Ideal candidates will hold a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology and have 2-4 years of relevant experience, especially in UNIX operating systems. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in an IT-related environment.
• Good knowledge of UNIX platform.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, NTP, and SysLog administration.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs onsite preventive maintenance.
• Generates and uploads maintenance reports.
• Provides technical assistance to Level 1 Engineers.
• Conducts project testing and commissioning with customers.

Skills

Knowledge of UNIX operating systems
